    Jack London, the famous American writer, was born in San Francisco in 1876. When he was young, he used to sell newspapers, work at a hotel and on a ship for money. In the years 1905 to 1909 Jack London wrote his best stories and novels. These books were about working people who came to find gold in Alaska, a cold country in the North. In his books, we can learn that Jack London loved people, and he was sure that man is stronger than anything in the world. His life was short, he died in 1916.

B. General evaluation:
- Some students in class 9E, 9G, 9D didn’t remember the rules in pronunciation. They did the reading task ircorrectly and made some silly mistakes on prepositions, wish clauses, passive voice and tenses: Thắng, Hoài, Tuyến… (9E), An, Trưởng, Hùng, Hương, Quang,  Tuấn Anh ...(9G), Minh, Hội, Chung… (9D)
- A few students in both of the classes made silly mistakes on pronunciation, answered the questions in ircorrect way: Ngân, Hà, Thương, Thắng, Vinh, Kim Oanh, Hiệp, Hùng ...
  - Students didn’t make much progress in doing the exercises.
 C. Experiences:
- Asking Ss to relearn by heart tenses carefully.
- Asking Ss to relearn by heart vocabularies and the learned structures carefully.
- provide more exercises for students in the afternoon classes.
- Check students’ notebooks more regularly.
